Day of the Dead
The route changed on-the-fly and we were late to the event. Not the way I would like to start telling the story.
I did follow up on the ideas for improvement that came from last year's experience. In regards to the equipment it really paid off with correctly exposed images that are more dramatic, colorful and crisp. The additional pixels on the 7D are also appreciated since it allows more room for cropping/framing during post processing.
Things to improve on for next year. Get there earlier. Prepare to shot along Mission. Plan to spend some time at the park after the procession.
Some of my favorites below. Complete set here
Face in the crowd

How to wear a hat

Crazy people I tell you

Moving down the street

I think this team was there last year

a moment later...

The girls

Now in Technicolor
Classic orange flowers

Rope on the neck

Detailed and creative

Casual holding of cigarette

Dead couple #1

Dead couple #2

Cadaver posing for camera

Walking corpse

Timid smile
